FIS National Championship

August 31, 2026

Local and International FIS registered athletes have a chance to lower their FIS points by competing in Coronet Peak's National Championship races over four days. The lower the points the better the chances of qualifying for races overseas!

Registration: All competitors must be an active athlete registered with FIS. Entries must be made on official FIS entry form and sent to [email protected].

Schedule:

Slalom: 31 August

Giant Slalom: 1 September

Race notices: Notices can be found on the SSNZ website.

Lift tickets:

  • 50% discount for racers and coaches. 1 complimentary ticket available for coaches for every 6 athletes, additional coaches to pay half price.
  • 50% discount for athletes entry fee where a parent volunteer holds Race Official Level 2 and fills a key event role

Awards are to follow one hour after event completion on the main deck of the Base Building.
