Skin to Summit #3

The third Skin to Summit will be held at Coronet Peak.

This series of events offers a safe controlled environment set by mountain patrol for you to learn the ropes of ski touring or challenge your skills. Each event is timed so you can track your personal bests.

Race dates 2026 & locations:

Race #1 Coronet Peak- 16 July
Race #2 The Remarkables - 23 July
Race #3 Coronet Peak - 30 July
Race #4 The Remarkables - 6 August
Race #5 Coronet Peak - 13 August

Event details 2026:

• Check-in: 06:00 at Patrol Base
• Start Time: 06:30
• Awards and Prizes: 08:00 at patrol base - If you are still on course past 08:00 you may not receive a prize and timing will be cut off at 1 hour and 10min.
• The course is mapped out by patrol, which we post in the Facebook Group the evening before the event.
• Day of registrations will NOT be accepted.
• Registration closes at 4pm the day before the event.
• To be in the loop, join the group and receive the event course maps, any changes, and weather/road info.
• No lift passes are included in the registration fee.
