Getting to Coronet Peak is easy; we’re the closest ski area to Queenstown, only 16kms from Queenstown. You can either drive yourself or catch a ride on the Coronet Peak Ski Bus. The Ski Bus departs regularly from outside the Snow Centre on Duke St in Central Queenstown for an easy ride up and down the mountain in winter. We have a fleet of modern 4WD buses to carry you and your equipment in comfort.
We also offer a bus service to The Remarkables ski area in Queenstown.
View the Alpine Code of Practice from the the NZ Bus & Coach Association.
From 1st September it will be compulsory to wear a face covering on all public transport under Level 2. If you are catching one of our buses this rule will apply. Face coverings can be single-use or reusable, and you can use your ski buff, bandana or scarf as a face covering. Please remember a single-use face covering can only be worn once but fabric reusable face coverings can be washed and worn again. For more information on face coverings you can visit the Covid19.govt.nz website.
