Meadow Fresh Dog Derby
The dog derby is an iconic event with a history on the mountain that goes back almost 50 years. It’s the chance to showcase your dog handling skills as you traverse the mountain in either the Country Dog, Townie Dog or Kids division! Sunday 21 August.
Australia New Zealand Cup Slalom
Borders are open and our local and international world cup athletes are coming back to train and race with us in New Zealand. Coronet Peak will be holding the Australia New Zealand Cup for yet another season. Top athletes around the world come to New Zealand to compete and help their standings for the next northern winter season.
Australia New Zealand Cup Super G
Starting from above Coronet Express, down the Hurdle, with a 90-degree turn through Eighth Basin, finishing right outside Heidi's Hut. There will be some great viewpoints to see some exceptional skiing of some world cup athletes.
Winter Pride Festival Opening Day
It's our first Winter Pride day on the slopes! Join us for an epic on-mountain day to kick off Winter Pride '22. Rainbow flags will be flying proud, and the team will be ready to welcome guests from all over the world to a day filled with colour. We have two days of Giant slalom starting today on the Hurdle! Great viewpoints to catch a glimpse of the race are from Arnold's Way and Little Easy Corner, or just look to the right when riding up the Coronet Express! You may get to see Coronet Peak World Cup Skier Alice Robinson!
Pride Ski Charity Race
Join us for our awesome annual Pride Ski Charity Race Day at Coronet Peak as part of the on-mountain series! If you're a skier or snowboarder, join in for a great cause! This race is open to anyone, of all skill levels. It's about having fun and raising money and awareness.

Home to Coronet Peak this annual race is open to all racers. The Coronet Cup consists of a GS and a slalom event and is meant to showcase our fellow Kiwi racers. A really fun race to watch, make your way to Heidi’s Hut for a hot drink and watch the racers cross the finish line!

National Junior Champs - FIS U21 GS
The NZ Junior FIS Cup Series is a series of tech events designed to give young FIS athletes (U21) a developmental step into International FIS racing. Athletes must be registered with the Federation Internationale de Ski to compete.
