UPDATE: Due to snow conditions, the decision has been made jointly with QAST to move the location of this race from Coronet Peak. It will now be held on Friday 21 July at The Remarkables. Please contact SSNZ with queries regarding registrations as a result of the change.

The National Junior Schools Championship title is up for grabs this year with a series at The Remarkables. We are starting the series with a giant slalom.

Any Primary School student from around New Zealand may register for the series. All competitors must be a SSNZ member to register for this event. Registration is through the SSNZ website; select Alpine Athlete for free membership.

Awarding categories:

• Year 1-4
• Year 5-6
• Year 7-8

Race notice, registration, and fees is through the SSNZ event calendar.

Deadline for entry: Saturday 8 July. No late registrations will be accepted.

Lift Ticket: 50% off lift tickets for racers and will be available at guest services.

Bib collection for coaches, parents, caregivers or school helpers will be at the team captain's meeting on 14 July (6 pm at the Station Building, Duke Street, Level 1, for coaches or those responsible for an athlete) or the start of the race.
