This one’s just for our locals. Get yourself slope side early in the season with a $50 Lift Pass and $25 Rentals. How good!

Coronet or Remarks? Your call, Locals Day is all about getting our community on the snow. 

Bring your mates, your whānau, even your neighbour. Locals Day passes are valid at both mountains for the day. 

  • Full Day Lift Pass: (9am – 4pm): $50
  • Full Day Recreational Rentals: $25 (includes skis/snowboard, boots, poles, helmet). Note, rental equipment must be returned to the location you collected it from. 

How does it work? 

To receive this offer, you must show proof to validate that you have lived in the Queenstown Lakes District for at least 3 months (e.g. utility bill, letter of offer from your employer, an addressed statement from your bank). 

We encourage you to purchase your Locals Day Pass online. Then send us clear copy of your utility bill via this formOnce our team verifies your address, your product will be activated. Please note you will need your MyPass card to access the lifts and collect your rental equipment. 

Pre-validation closes 5pm, Friday 20 June. Otherwise, visit our team at the Queenstown Snow Centre or on-mountain Guest Services. 

MyPass Cards: 

If you already have a MyPass card from previous years and it's assigned to the account you purchased your product on - too good, head straight to the lifts. To collect a new MyPass card, head along to our Kiosks on the mountain or in the Queenstown Snow Centre, scan the barcode on your confirmation email to print your card, then head to the chairlift or rentals area! 

Locals Area: 

To be eligible, you must have lived in the Queenstown Lakes District for at least 3 months. Valid proof includes a utility bill, job offer letter, or bank statement with your name and address. 

Local areas include: Queenstown, Arrowtown, Gibbston Valley, Glenorchy, Kingston, Wānaka, Tarras, Cromwell, Hāwea and Makarora. T&Cs apply.
