Oceania’s best mountain bikers will return to New Zealand for the first time in five years!

The three-days of competition, 21-23 March 2025, will see Oceania Champions crowned in three categories. For the first time riders will compete in Cross-country Short Track (XCC), as well as Cross Country (XCO) and Downhill (DH).

Details of the other 2025 Oceania Championships will be announced in due course.

We will be having a range of trail closures across the 3 days while racing takes place. See below:

21st March: Coronet peak will be OPEN for Mountain Biking and Sightseeing. Link trail from Dirt Serpent to Rude Rock will be Closed. There will be some holds on XC for racers. 

22nd March: Coronet Peak will be CLOSED for Mountain Biking but OPEN for Sightseeing. This is due to XCC and DH final/practise. Shuttle will NOT be operational. 

23rd March: Coronet peak will be OPEN for Mountain Biking and Sightseeing. Please note the DH trail will be CLOSED to the public. XC and Dirt serpent (via tuck) will be OPEN. Due to this day passes will be 50% off. 

Our Gondola will be open for sightseeing and spectating all 3 days so make sure to get up here to witness some incredible athletes race on bikes!
