Junior Interfield

The Junior Interfield series marks the beginning of an alpine skiers’ career. The series is intended to develop and encourage youth ski racing in NZ. Anyone 15 and under can register for this dual slalom event with a featured jump!
The Junior Interfield Race is a Snowsports New Zealand sanctioned race series for all youth age groups from U8 – U16. We will be running a Parallel Slalom on Alta Blue with a small drop in the course.

14 September 2024: Slalom
15 September 2024: Parallel
When registering categories, be sure to mark down the correct category for your athlete. Awarding categories include:
- U8, Born 2017 and after
- U10, Born 2015 - 2016
- U12, Born 2013 - 2014
- U14, Born 2011 - 2012
- U16, Born 2009 – 2010

Register to be a member on the SSNZ website, select Alpine Athlete for free membership
Bib collection for coaches, parents, caregivers or school helpers will be on the street level at the registration desk outside Guest Services
