Getting here
Coronet Peak Ski Bus
Getting to Coronet Peak is easy; we’re the closest ski area to Queenstown, only 16kms from Queenstown. You can either drive yourself or catch a ride on the Coronet Peak Ski Bus. The Ski Bus departs regularly from Duke St in Central Queenstown for an easy ride up and down the mountain in winter. We have a fleet of modern 4WD and 2WD buses to carry you and your equipment in comfort. Please note that you'll need to book a date and which ski area when purchasing your tickets unless you've already booked or have a Ski Bus Season Pass.
Vehicle parking is also available in central Queenstown at Man St Car Park, close to the Ski Bus pick up location.

The Coronet Peak road is a fully sealed alpine road. Please drive to the conditions, maintain two-way access and carry chains at all times. Check the weather page on our website for road conditions and car park availability. Coronet Peak offers a lot of free car parking areas, many of which are within walking distance of the base facilities. If you are parked a bit farther away, you can hop on the free shuttle bus service. This shuttle runs continuously throughout the day between the designated pickup areas and the drop-off area at the base building. You can also use this drop-off area to drop off friends, family and heavy gear before finding your car park.
